LEGALITIES OF TINTING VEHICLES

KNOW WHERE YOU STAND WITH THE LAW

Currently in the UK the law states that vehicles first used on 1^st April 1985 or later that the following on car windows and that you should ALLOW at least:

75 % of light to come through the front windscreen

70 % light to be allowed through the front windows

The Police have the ability to issue fixed penalty fines if you do not comply with the regulations. The police can also stop you from using your vehicle unless you have the tint removed.
